lots of new words

Crystal is talking up a storm in our house...she loves the number two and knows when there is only two of something, but we cant get any other number from her...her newest word is ya...which is better than hearing no all the time...when she sees something from Christmas she goes HO HO HO, she is so cute

Courtney is slowly learning all the words from her sister....she just started saying HO HO HO but only when Crystal says it... I talked with her doctor and she will put in the word to get her trach out at the end of April first part of May...we need all the prayers we can to keep her healthy and that it goes like we hope

Jasmine has learned to shake her head no at every question you ask her....she also has learned to play peek-a-boo, it is so cute when she plays it in the car with her sisters....she are going to try and start weaning her nuk, to where she can have it in the car or sleeping only...some days we do alright and some days are a struggle

Daddy is doing good...he is working a lot but it is keeping him busy...we will be finding out in a few months were we will be living after Christmas, we are excited to be a whole family again...Courtney cant wait to have her daddy at home to put her to bed, least that what she says

Finally a schedule

Crystals OT therapist gave us a board with pictures on it to help her and Courtney plan ahead and to help us get out the door on time in the morning.....So far it has been working great, even has been helping them go to bed on time

Monday we had no school so we went to the Maplewood mall to play in the play place....they all had a blast...the twins thought it was fun to try and go down the slide together...Crystal was the one to get hurt, she misjudged the height of the tunnel and smacked into, which resulted in a nice fat lip

They enjoyed going back to school today....Crystal stayed dry the whole day and used the potty, now time to work on that at home....Courtney stays dry most days but it hard for her since we gets all that pedisure at night

Jasmine is cutting all four molars at once, so she has been a cranky little girl....cant seem to get anything done some nights...i hope them come in fast unlike some of the other ones

outside fun

since it was such a warm day we went over to Grandma Hitchcocks house and pulled out the bikes for some fun in the sun...in January

Crystal I noticed is getting a little big for her bike, might need to get a bigger one...they enjoyed being outside again...Jasmine slept in her car seat while her sisters played

New word

The twins have learned a new word this week, not the best word but a new word..

The new word is POOP, and they love to use it....and they do use it in the correct way...

Crystals therapy teacher had a good laugh with this word....but it shows they do listen to what we are saying

A good week

It was a short week at school but they were happy to be back...they missed school and sad part is as they get older this will change

Crystal did great sorting colors today, they said this is the longest she has sat to do it...she is growing up...her teacher also stated that she is talking more, I know we have heard some new things at home including I know...we are working on teaching the word "and" so she can make her sentences longer

Courtney loved all the arts and crafts this week, this kid could color all day if you let her...her teachers also have reported that she is using more simple words, she is learning from Crystal...I was able to get her to say apple, two, three and four today, some didnt come out with exact words but close enough

Jasmine loves being the clown of the family....she knows when she isnt suppose to do something, and when you tell her no she will turn around and smile at you....she is always making us laugh with her goofy smile....she is always trying to play with her big sisters even when they dont like it

Everything else is going good...Crystal starts her first OT tomorrow, and combined that with speech, it will be along day for them

New Year

A new year means a new start to the blog...i want to keep it up more this year

The girls are growing and learning more everyday...I cant believe the twins will be 4 in a few months

Crystal is finally putting simple sentences together....now we are able to understand what she wants....

Courtney will be going in , in may to get her trach out....we will try it again and so far everything is looking up for her this time

Jasmine is a active toddler...she looks up to her big sister and follows everything they do

Daddy is doing good and loves seeing/talking with the kids on skype.....the kids call him everyday and talk with him....he has been able to watch them grow up and learn new things...we are counting down the days till we are a family again

Halloween Pictures

Two weeks late but better than never...lol...been busy around here

Finally got interent and cable at the apartment so I should be able to update a little more and also moved all the final boxes into a storage unit over the weekend, so the apartment is finally coming together

Crystal is loving the word no, she uses it alot but she will shake her head yes to some things so it not all bad...she is stubborn when it comes to something she wants, if she asks for something and you tell her no or dont do it she throws a fit...She loved dressing up as Thomas the tank engine and loved telling people she is a train

Courtney was also Thomas the tank engine....she talks alot in school and at home...she loves to talk about her daddy...every airplane is daddy, every picture she draws she wants to mail it daddy...last friday she was in the ER and diagnosed with early stages of pneumonia, but she is doing great and fighting it off here at home

Jasmine has tooth number 7 coming in, the first tooth since July, she waited a long time to push another one through.....She did great for her first trick or treating, she walked up to the doors right behind her big sisters...She was in the ER on saturday for a CT scan, she fell out of the shopping cart and had a bruise that took up her whole forehead, everything came back normal...it hasnt slowed her down

Daddy is doing good...he works the overnight shift and is online most nights to check in with me and check on the kids...the twins love seeing him on webcam

Last weekend pictures

We went up north to visit auntie Janet and Grandma Hoggarth plus family...It was a nice weekend away...Jasmine got some owies while playing on the farm, the life on the farm...Twins are growing and talking more

Daddy is doing good...he has gotten one out of three boxes that we have sent already...He misses us all

been awhile

Well we got our first call yesterday from James, he made it over there and is safe and sound...

Crystal is trying to put what little words she has together to form sentences...we get that mommy and that daddy a lot from here plus the baby(what she calls Jasmine)....she is trying to be a big sister more and more, she worries so much about Jasmine

Courtney has been using her speaking value, it helps her talk better...she can say mommy, daddy, baby, dede and a few other small words...everything is about the baby or daddy with her...

Jasmine is a walking toddler now...the other day she was sitting on the floor and out of the blue said hi dada...it was so clear and so cute...she is growing up on me so fast

School is going good for the twins...they are enjoying it and most of the the artwork they bring home they want to send it to daddy, it is so cute

Daddy came home last weekend for his last four day....we went out to the zoo durn the day than me and him had a special date night with no kids, than sunday we had a family lunch with the hamiltons and family dinner with Jasmines godparents and Grandma Hitchcock...

first day of preschool

Today the twins went back to school, it will be their first full year of preschool....They seemed to do okay

Crystal enjoyed playing on the new trampoline and painting....she did use the potty at school, we are still working on potty training...she has learned to put her shoes on by herself

Courtney also enjoyed the new trampoline in the gym, plus she got to have a special treat at snack, chocolate milk...she seemed to love it but than they dont get it at home...she also can put her own shoes on and has learned some new words such as baby

Jasmine is taking more steps on her own, wont be long now....Me and her just got back from seeing daddy in Texas, they had some great bonding time together...they really havent had the time to form that bond yet

James will be leaving sometime in Oct....but good news is he will only be gone 9 months now, so not as long as we thought...

Two big first

Courtney is almost potty trained...depending on her mood and who the nurse is she will go use the potty chair....wont be long till she is fully there....she has learned the word no, and loves to use it...

Crystal wants nothing to do with being potty trained...she is learning some new words, and is actually starting to talk at speech therapy, her favorite word is no too

Jasmine is almost walking, she can get pretty far than lunges forward right to the floor...she can go to standing in the middle of the room now, without holding on to anything

We are still getting our new place together, but it wont be completely done till we get the rest of our stuff up from texas...

A quick update

Well me and the kids moved into a place of our own...a two bedroom plus den...we love it

Daddy was home for about two weeks and it was a blast having daddy home for a little bit, he got to help us move into our new place....we also did have Jasmines one year birthday party, it was fun to be with friends and family

We got some bad news last week...Grandpa Hamilton passed away..he was a great great grandpa to the kids...he will be missed...

We are back to being on our own, we have no interent till daddy deploys in about a month so I will only be able to update once a week

Happy 1st Birthday

Jasmine turned one today....she is now a toddler...

We went out to eat for dinner and it was great....I weighed her here at home and she is 21lbs 4ozs, so she gained about 13lbs in a year, not bad at all

I am also proud to say I am now nursing a toddler, we made it a whole year and plan on keep going till she is ready to wean

We took a last minute trip to Texas to see James and help him move out of the house that we were renting down there

It was a long drive but it was worth it....the kids got to play outside everyday, play at the waterpark, play at the playgrounds...it was a great two weeks

will update more this weekend and get some pictures up

They went back to school this week and they couldnt be happier with that

Happy 4th of July

It was Jasmines first and we had a blast....started the day by going to the park and a picnic lunch down by the river.....than music and fireworks later that night...

All 3 kids did great with fireworks, no one got scared...yay

A relaxing sunday

We went over to see Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton....it was nice to see them

The rest of the day was spent at home and outside playing...not much else going on

We think Jasmines other tooth has finally came through, giving her a total of four...two bottom and the two eye teeth(fangs)

Indoor playground fun

We went to an indoor playgound...it was a blast....they played in the toddler for a little bit, that area was more for Jasmine....me and the nurse took them all up in the big kid area to go down the slides, that was a blast....they also loved running, riding trikes, and playing in the jump house....we will be going back when we have some one to help watch Jasmine, least till she is able to walk and do more on her own....she did love the jump house and slides, but getting her to the slides isnt easy

July Already

In 26 days Jasmine will be ONE and a toddler.....where has the time gone....

Not much new going on here, been to hot to play outside but did go to wal-mart with Grandma and got some great deals on toys that we put away for Christmas and Jasmines Birthday

Therapy went great for both girls today....Crystal is now saying mine or me....Courtney worked on sorting her colors and seemed to do okay with it

Jasmine is on the move, talking and eating like crazy
