Getting back to normal

After yesterday everyday is going to be a calm one.

Courtney has been okay for the most part today. Running a temp but that is between teething and post surgery, but Tylenol brought that down. A little fussy here and there but considering what she went through last night she was good. Didnt want to smile to much today but did towards the end of the night, she was even picking on her sister.

Crystal went out to the mall with mommy and daddy, than meet up with Roman and Olivia and their mommy and daddy. It was lots of fun. She has finally figured out that she can roll from her back to belly. She has been doing it all day. My little baby is moving, hard to believe. Wont be long till she crawls.

What a night

Today was a good day for both girls till about 7:00pm......

Mommy and Daddy went out to eat dinner with Uncle Joe and Auntie Jenni, finally a double date night away but the kids had another plan. Right when the food got there we get a call from the nurse, Courtney pulled out her feeding tube.....and hers has to be replaced in the ER. So we quick gather our food up and run through the mall to get home to bring her in.

We get her to the ER and she was all smiles and a happy little girl, not even phased by the tube being out. Well of course there is no one that can put her to sleep to do procedure because the time of night it is......they come in saying they could try it while awake but if it didnt work she would have to spend the night. I almost broke down at that point, because I spent 9 months of nights away from my baby I didnt want to spend another night away from her. I wake up every morning looking for that Courtney smile.....plus Crystals.

Well my little girl made it through the procedure just great. She was such a trooper. I couldnt be more proud of her. I had to be in the room while they did it to keep her calm, but since it was her normal bedtime she slept through some of it. I got to watch how they put the tube into her and it was interesting.....but I am the type of mommy that likes to know how things work and go with my children. I have learned one more thing about my babies tonight.

Durn all of this Crystal was at home with her nurse and did wonderful. I am so proud of them...when of them is sick or hurt the other one is a little angel. She knew her sister was hurting.

Courtney has been through so much in her 11.5 months of life, and this would make it her 2nd trip to the ER and than she had to be awake to get the tube back in. Poor little baby, but she acts like this is nothing. I took a minute to step back tonight and looked at all my babies have been through in their lives.....they are so strong and have such a will to prove everyone wrong. My babies have taught me alot about life, how precious it is, how to make every second count with the ones you love. My girls are my heroes and everything I do is for them.

Everytime I hear them cry, I want to cry because hearing them cry for me is the most beatiful nosie ever....I have waited so long to hear them cry like this. Everytime they learn something new, I cry....because people have said they would never do that. I dont know what my life would be like with out my miracle babies. I am proud to be their mommy.

We got the couch

The new weekly weights are in:
Crystal is now 15lbs even
Courtney is now 17lbs 10ozs

Just an FYI for everyone, one the Twins wish list that went out with the invite I have down 9 months clothes for the summer and spring but by the looks of it 6 months -9 months will work great but fall/winter clothes for next year can be 9 months and up.

Courtney is so much happier when she sits up like a big girl. She will laugh so hard she falls backwards and today when she did it her sister pulled her tubing off. She has the cutest little laugh too.

Crystal is almost crawling. She did try moving her legs today so we are one step closer. She did move around a lot today from tummy to back and than back to her tummy. She has learned that it isnt that hard at all.

Couch Hunting

Crystal went looking for a new couch tonight. She found one that she liked and since mommy and daddy are getting taxes back we decide to get it. She is finally scooting backwards. I am so happy to see her trying to move. When we were out at IKEA we saw Aunt Jody and Uncle Peter, it was nice to see them.

Courtney has been such a ham today. She was laughing so hard that she fell backwards. She has gotten to the point that when she is laying down she will cry, just because she wants to sit up like a big girl just like her sister.

They both got their RSV shots, we should almost be done with them this season.

Almost there

Crystal is almost crawling, she can move her hands forward but hasnt figured out how to move her legs with her. It is so cute to watch. Hopefully she will be crawling soon.

Courtney is becoming her sister so fast. She was taking her tubes and putting them in her mouth. We are in for trouble in this house. She is such a quick learner though, and a smart one.

They are already beating each other up, more Crystal on Courtney than the other way around though. You can tell who the leader is in the house between the two of them.
