Yesterday

Courtney did great day at PT, they even had her standing....with some help still but she was putting weight on her feet and wasnt even crying. She is getting so big on me. After PT we meet up with Tammi, Roman and Olivia at the mall. We went and stuffed some dolls for the girls. It was fun, they seem to like them. It was fun. To bad they were sold out of all the clothes for the doll, so we got to dolls that have no clothes.

We went over to Grandma and Grandpas house for daddys birthday dinner. It didnt go as planned. Durn dinner Courtneys GT-tube(feeding tube) got pulled out, so it was a trip to the ER. We are thinking it was a bad tube she had in because the balloon that holds it in was popped. It was about three hours spent in the ER. Daddy stayed at home with Crystal. They put it back in her with her awake again. And once again she went to sleep durn it. Such a brave girl.

TODAY:
She is doing great and has no problems. She has learned to move across the floor on her back. She also has eight teeth now. Crystal has been crabby so I am thinking she is starting to cut more teeth. She is eating more at the table though. They are also now 16 months old, getting so big

Happy Birthday Daddy

Today daddy turned 22. It was a fun night celebrating. Him and mommy went and played mini golf and than we all went to Chuckie Cheese. He got a cake and they all sang him happy birthday, it was funny.

We got to finger paint today at the table. Corutney thought it would be fun to eat it and Crystal didnt seem to like it to much. We went shopping with Auntie Jeni this morn. Crystal got a better car seat and one that will last her longer than the other one will.

New things

We didnt go out last week, we just chilled at home. Courtney is doing great with her PT. She is starting to put more weight on her legs, so maybe she will learn to stand before she learns to crawl. She starts OT on monday to work on her strength. She also has two new teeth for a total of 8. Crystal can take up to three steps at a time before she goes back to crawling. Her crawling has gotten faster now too. She has been cranking because of teething. She is getting the same ones her sister is.

Saturday:
We went shopping for winter clothes. We got some cute outfits, it is hard getting clothes now since we are not sure what size they will be in by winter but i think we got a good idea. They got to go Chuckie Cheese and have some fun. They had a blast. Crystal was babysat by grandma and grandpa while mom went to the hot tub seats at the Saints game with Tammi, daddy was home sick. She was good for them.

Sunday:
We all went to the Science museum to see the Titanic exhibit. It was so cool. Courtney slept through it all but thats okay. We went and saw the movie in the omnitheater, the girls were great through it. Courtney watched the whole thing and Crystal fell asleep. They both wanted to sit on mommys lap durn it. Afterward we went out to dinner with the grandparents. Crystal had fun playing with Auntie Janelle. Courtney ate ice cream and loved it.

A busy weekend

Saturday:
We had Christmas in July. It was fun, but it always is when you get our family together. The girls had fun playing outside and playing with her relatives. They got to play with grandma and grandpas puppy, more the puppy wanted to play with them. It was great seeing everyone.

Sunday:
The girls got Baptized. The first time was when they were two days old. They both did great. Nobody cried durn it, which I was shocked about it, but proud of them being big girls. They enjoyed seeing more of their family at the get together afterwards.

Busy week

Sunday:
Grandpa and Grandma Becky came over to play. It was nice to see them since it been awhile since they been over to play. We get to play at their house on Saturday.

Monday:
We went to the mall with Grandma Hitchcock and Auntie Janelle. Mainly so Janelle could have some fun and ride some rides. The girls each got to ride two rides. They are not sure what to think of them. Nethier of them cried but they had the look on their face like why am I on this thing. It was a great day of fun.

Tuesday and Wedesday:
The days were spent looking for the perfect dress for Sunday. And we did find a cute one for them to wear. It isnt easy to find matching dresses for them to be baptized in. Also on Tuesday the got to meet their Great-Grandparents on the Wyman side.

Today:
We had a play date with Olivia and Roman. It was great to see them all again. Crystal had fun with Roman, she isnt used to a baby that can stand up and do the things she is doing. I think she liked having someone play at her level. Courtney sat and played with Olivia. It was great day.

Tomo:
We are taking Auntie Shannon out to the zoo. We love going to the zoo.

First Parade

We took them to their first parade with Grandma Hitchcock. The girls loved it and they did great. Crystal found out what suckers taste like and she loves them. She can also pretty much stand on her own now and is trying to figure out walking. Courtney is getting better with being on all fours and also doing a lot better with food in her mouth.

Iowa Day One

We left the house about 5:30am, hoping that the kids would sleep part of the 3 hour drive, nope they wanted to see where they were going. They did very well for being in a carseat for three hours straight.

When we got here they played with Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa for awhile. Crystal had no problem but Courtney cried. Than we went over to our other Great-Grandmas for lunch. Crystal took her first step alone and it was to her auntie Janelle and she hasnt done it since. She also saw stairs for the first time and she can climb them. I was shocked. Both girls sat at the table with us. Courtney loved the potato chip that we gave her, Crystal loved the buns. Than Crystal went swimming with auntie Janelle at the pool, her first time ever. Courtney stayed at Grandmas since she dont like water and she was sleeping. Crystal had a blast, so we know where to take her.

Dinner was the Great-Grandparents(Hamiltons). Courtney would take a taste of food if I asked her, than after tasting it she would shake her head no and gag. Hey it is a start. Crystal wasnt sure what to think of the watermelon. Both went to bed with no problems, time for us parents to fo to bed since we been up since 4am.

Tomo is another big day of firsts for the kids.
