Trick or Treat at the mall

Tuesday we went out to the mall for toddler Tuesday and we were all dressed up. They got to go around camp snoopy(as we still call it) and do some trick-or-treating....they got stuff that wasnt candy. Crystal is still trying to figure out what the big deal is about. They each got a book and a blues clues book mark. Than we meet up with our friends Roman and Olivia...it was great to see them.

Halloween at the zoo

Saturday we went to the zoo for trick or treating....it was fun and the weather wasnt all that bad so they got to play outside for awhile. Everyone thought they were so cute in their costumes....of course they were. Grandma Hitchcock came to play with us too.

Painting Pumpkins

It was our first time painting pumpkins and they had a blast.....the pumpkins turned out just great.

9-17 Halloween party

We went to the moms of multiples Halloween party. The girls got to wear there costumes, they were so cute in them. Crystal is a little monkey and Courtney is a little ladybug. Daddy picked out they were going to be this year, since once again the Army has him away from home durn Halloween.

Big Baby

Crystal Ann has hit 20lbs, she sure has grown....some of it could be from the steriods she is on because of being sick. I was shocked when I saw that number on the scale. Courtney is just over 17lbs...I would think she would be more since she is none stop eating.

Crystal has a new favorite food..well two. She loves hotdogs and fishsticks. She has been doing a new thing when she hears a sound seh knows....when the telephone rings she runs to the wall and points at it, when the vent beeps she runs to and trys to fix it...it is so cute to watch.

Courtney is doing wonderful on her standing, but she still wants nothing to do with crawling. I put her hair in a ponytail tonight, it looked so cute...and she didnt seem to mind it one bit. I will be doing that more with her now.

Daddy came for a visit

Daddy came home Thursday night and stayed till Monday morn. Courtney was so happy to wake up on Friday and see her daddy, she sure did miss him....took Crystal a little bit of time to warm up to him but thats okay she is always a mommys girl.

He has been gone only three weeks but it seems like longer...he also told us he might have 5 extra weeks of training which would put him coming home late Jan. to early Feb. He still would get to come home at Christmas but we would have to ship him back out afterward and I really didnt want to do that. The kids are getting to the age that they now daddy is gone and is gone for a long time, as much as toddlers can tell time. Courtney didnt want her daddy to leave, she clung to him...Crystal did better this time than last time least till bed time, than she wanted her daddy.

The girls are a little sick but other than that they are doing great...Courtney is standing better on her own and she loves to show it off. Crystal loves when the phone rings...she runs to it and points at it till you pick it up, she does the same thing when the vent beeps...she will let you know.

What a weekend

SATURDAY:
We didnt have a nurse for Courtney and mommy had things that had to be done...so i loaded them into daddys impala and off we went. We went out to the Mall of America...both did great since it was just me and them. It wasnt that hard to do either. Grandma came over to help when we got home.

SUNDAY:
We all ran out to target since once 3 o'clock hit there would be no nurse. I got them some of those toddler paints and they love them...now I got to get them the marker ones. They painted such great pictures. After dinner and before bath we used regualr finger paints in the tub, they made more pretty pictures plus painted the tub. They got their first big girl bath without bath seats and they did great, maybe we can move up in the world. The bath was when it was just mommy and the girls. Not so bad

MONDAY:
We stayed in all day. Courtney got some time on her talking value thing and she did great. She was talking with her sister. It was so cute, they back and fortn for awhile. She is getting so big. Crystal is doing great, she is starting to talk more and sign some words too. She loves to play with sissy and always has to be right by her.

Courtney is a big girl

Well last night Courtney pulled out her G-J tube, with help from the nurse. So off to the ER with her and her sister in tow. Had to call grandma to come and help with Crystal. The team that does the surgery for the G-J was already sent home for the night, so they couldnt do. I told them to put in a normal G tube...one like Crystals because Courtney was not staying over night in that hospital with all those sick kids. Mommy got her way and home she went with a new normal feeding tube. We went to OT today, which she did great at....while there we stopped to see her doctor, and she agreed to keep the normal tube in. I am so happy and proud of my little girl. She is growing up and getting stronger. No more tube to be careful of, no more ER trips to get it fixed...I love it, and she does too.

They both got flu shots today...Courtney cried, Crystal didnt even wimper or flinch. They are getting bigger and stronger.

I lvoe being a mommy to these two...they keep life going and there is always something new to learn from them and they always are learning something new
