Christmas Day

Well since it snowed we didnt make it down to Iowa for Christmas but we had Christmas at Grandma Hamiltons, even Grandma Hitchcock came over to share the special day with us....It was the twins second Christmas but Courtneys first Christmas at home....it was such a great day

Courtney took her first two steps for crawling too, make the day even specialer.....plus she waited till daddy came home to try and crawl....least he didnt miss this...

The girls loved the dinner Grandma made and they love pumpkin pie, Crystal thought it needed to be ripped apart before she could eat it though....

It was a great day and it was great to be with family

Tuesday we went to a Christmas Party with out nursing agency, and the girls didnt like Santa this time around....they sat and screamed at him.....they enjoyed the food and playing plus seeing all of their nurses

Thursday Courtney got her braces...they are so tiny and so cute....she is still unsure of them but her standing is looking better..

Courtney can almost crawl...she will go backward and in a circle..dosent help that Crystal laughs at her when she does it...She is 17lbs 7ozs and 28 inches

Crystal is now 22lbs and 30 inches....she grew and gained weight in about two weeks

Saturday we went to the moms of multiples Christmas Party and they got to see Santa....they did really well with him...

Courtney should be getting her braces on Thursday....she picked out pink camo of course

A big update

Lets start with Courtney Jo:
She will see the foot doctor tomo finally we will have some news.....We got the news this week that she will be getting her trach out by May...sooner than her sister..she has started weaning at night with her vent, and she dosent use the vent anymore durn the day....she grew an inch so she is up to 28 inches and weight is about the same, but she is eating more now so we are hoping for an increase soon....she can pull herself up to the kneeling position and can almost stand up on her own...she is growing up so fast, she can almost crawl too....

Crystal Ann:
She was in the ER last Saturday because she fell down the stairs here at the apartment...she was fine, just a little bruise on her head, she is one lucky little girl....she will have a speech evaluation on the 28th, I hope it goes good...she can get on the couch all by herself, which means she must of gotten taller at some point...she loves to rock on her daddys rocking horse, and she can get on and off by herself....

Today they went in the snow...they werent to sure about it, but it is only the first snow fall of the year
